About the Web 2.0 Meetup
The New York Web 2.0 Meetup is one of the most popular Meetups in the New York City area catering to the Web 2.0, Social Networking and Social Media scene.
Created in early 2006, The Web 2.0 Meetup has become one of the fastest growing Meetups and has been featured in a numerous amount of publications and e-zines, including Webware and Mashable. Each evening includes presentations and/or showcases from New York-based companies of all aspects, as well as time for informal networking afterwards among the attendees.
What is the focus of this Meetup?
We are not strictly a technology-based group. We encourage people from all industries to attend and engage in our various topics of discussion designated for the evening. Each evening includes a presentation or two, as well as additional alloted time for informal networking.
Who is our target audience?
We encourage those involved in various aspects of business (Advertising, Internet, Marketing, Entrepreneurial/Startup) to attend and become a part of one of New York’s biggest and most successful Meetups. In the coming weeks, we will be putting the finishing touches on our NEW additional networking groups that will be focusing upon the Advertising and Sales industries to further enable our members to interact with those in similar or different industries.
